The below provide some frequently aksed questions and their answers.
Q: My juice extractor is turned on, but won’t run. Why?
A: The safety lock may not be closed securely. Turn your juice extractor to off and unplug. Check that each part of appliance is attached correctly and all parts are clean and free of food remnants.
Note: There is a dual safety interlock system that prevents the juice extractor from operating if the safety bar is not locked AND/OR the pulp basket is not correctly seated against the back of the appliance.
Q: My juice extractor is making a lot of noise and/or vibrating badly.
A: Soft foods, pulp or rind may have clogged the filter. Turn your juice extractor off and unplug. Remove the filter basket and clean with a brush to remove all food particles.
Q: Why does my juice extractor motor seem to stall?
A: Juicing may be too vigorous (i.e. you are juicing too much at once) and/or pulp has built up under the cover. Turn your juice extractor off and unplug. Remove the filter basket and clean with a brush to remove all food particles. Clean cover before replacing and continuing to juice. You may also try juicing smaller amounts of produce at one time.
Q: Why is juice leaking between the pitcher and the cover of the juice extractor?
A: Your juice pitcher may not be properly placed and/or your juicing action may be too fast. Make sure the juice pitcher is flush against the extractor base. Slow down the juicing action by pushing produce more slowly with the food pusher.
