Q: I made up a mix of produce, but I don’t like the taste in the final product. How do I save the drink without having make another one from scratch.
A: Try adding more produce into the mix – if the drink is too bitter, add something sweet like berries or peaches; if the drink is too sour, try cutting the sour with apples; for drinks that are too sweet or earthy, you may want to try adding citrus. You can also use other mixers, such as sparkling water or honey to add flavor.
Q: Processed produce is yielding small amounts of juice. Why am I not getting more juice out of my produce?
A: You may be pushing the produce too quickly through the juice extractor and/or your produce may not be prepared correctly. Use the food pusher as a guide only! Do not use heavy pressure. Always make sure produce is cleaned, dry and prepared correctly.
Q: Is there any way to speed up cleaning my juice extractor?
A: All of the removable parts are dishwasher-safe, so you can simply rinse and place in the dishwasher. Our favorite trick, however, is to line the pulp basket with a scrap bag or small plastic bag – this keeps the basket clean and also provides a clean and easy way to seal and dispose of pulp.
