Make the most out of this season and keep your fabulous fall produce fresh and nutritious with these tips.

Crisper Drawers

Those crisper drawers in your fridge are there for a reason! Use them to store fruits and vegetables separately thereby containing natural gasses that promote ripening, and to keep natural flavors pure.

Wait

Wait to wash until right before using & keep produce such as lettuce intact until ready to eat.

Avoid

Avoid mealy tomatoes by storing them in their own open area on the counter top placed upside down which minimizes air from entering at the stem.

Store

Store garlic, onion, potatoes, sweet potatoes & winter squash in a cool dark cabinet or pantry.
