The New Year is almost here which means…time for New Year's Resolutions!

Although some may shy away from resolutions, they actually can be very helpful; after all, a new year is a great time to assess where you’re at and where you want to be. When making resolutions its important to follow these three tips:

  1. Write down your resolutions and be specific.
  2. Include measurable behaviors and...
  3. Enlist support where needed. For example, instead of "I want to get in better shape," you will be more successful with "I will exercise for 30 minutes five times a week, and have dessert once a week."
